This June 2019, Eco-Business will be heading North to the Arctic to document the how the changing climate is changing the Arctic irrevocably, and why this matters to Asia.
We are excited to announce a partnership with Explorer’s Passage, a pioneer in adventure travel based in the US, on the ClimateForce 2019 expedition led by Sir Robert Swan which will gather some 100 changemakers from across the globe.
Explorer’s Passage and 2041 – a foundation set up by Sir Robert Swan – have launched the Arctic Negative Carbon Initiative (ACNI) which will be a set of protocols for the cruise industry to offset 1.25 times the carbon impact of taking customers to the Arctic.
Its mission is to set the standard for the global travel industry. Eco-Business will be joining 2041 and The Explorer’s Passage on the 2019 Arctic expedition and will be making a sequel to From Asia to Antarctica. It will also help to select and support (non-financial support) candidates in Asia who would like to join the expedition. Upon selection, we will work closely to provide advice and guidance on how to raise funds, including using our platform to publish content on your fund-raising efforts.
The ClimateForce challenge is a mission to remove 360 million tons of C02 from our atmosphere over the next 7 years.
Interested applicants from Asia can submit their details here, and we’ll be in touch!
